My first MDA event volunteering  photography was great.  They successfully auctioned off the above big bike donated by Schaeffer’s .   As everyone came into the ballroom, I posed them with the bike.  They later that night each went home with a 5 x 7 print.  Al Grout provided great entertainment by juggling more stuff than I have fingers, from his face and hands.  The Air Products band The Difference provided great rock and dance tunes all night.  To see some more folks with smiles on their faces as they dreamed about their winning bid for the bike, click here.

Garden Gnome

Here is a great Christmas gift; he’s waiting for my lettuce or spinach to pop out of the ground, any day now. Weather has to warm up a bit, we’ve had freezing nights this week.  This little guy is also reminding me it’s almost baseball season, and the local AAA affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies will be starting soon.  Can’t wait to see them in  action again.

jhl58451Well at least at my house, these little gals are showing off today.  Got some onions and peas planted yesterday, snow won’t hurt them.  Keep warming us up day by day Mr. sun!

Ah yes, the March snowstorm.  Oh what fun it is.  I was working on the rototiller over the weekend, hoping to soon get into the garden.  Not so soon, said mother nature.
